Any native WatchService implementation planned on Mac OS X for JDK9?

Hello,
This is a follow up to a thread I started on an incorrect list:
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/jdk9-dev/2014-August/001171.html
Apparently, JDK-7133447 "(fs) Need WatchService optimized for MacOSX " is
marked as "Resolved" (as a duplicate). I can't seem to determine where I
should look (what is it a duplicate of?). It doesn't seem to be a
duplicate MACOSX_PORT-208 (that seems to be the origin). There's a
reference to JI-9000729 but I don't know how to view that.
In any case, if there's something to test already, I'm happy to try it
out. If not, it would be helpful to know if it's planned for a specific
JDK9 build because current workarounds all have big shortcomings.
Thanks in advance for any help. Below (for information), I've copied the
messages from the original thread).

with the other platforms, this is one of them. The right list is nio-dev.
The issue tracking it is JDK-7133447.
