There is an issue type "backport" when changes are back-ported. The 
backport issue will be created automatically when it is pushed to 
jdk8u-dev. It can be created in advance too. The change-set comment will 
have the original issue number. Best to give the fix a bit of time to 
bed down in jdk9/dev before requesting approval to back-port. The main 
thing here will being confident that the test is stable on all platforms.

BTW: In the test then do you mind I change "service" to "watcher" to 
make it clearer and also consistent with the existing tests?
