As a short term workaround in the test then this is probably okay 
although "replicates" looks a bit odd. I would much prefer if we find 
time to get to root of these issues so that the implementation can 
handle these cases where there are duplicate or overlay mounts. I 
realize this will require work to setup these scenarios but we have to 
get to the underlying issue to avoid the continuous trickle of bug 
reports with unusual configurations.
