Thanks for the test. Does this exact test duplicate the issue for you? I 
had to fix a couple of issues to compile it but once I fixed those it 
ran okay for me on Windows Server 2003 and 2008 ("ran okay" here means 
the file size was as expected). Maybe it duplicates for you with 
specific file sizes or I/O sizes?
