By "Rich Text Editor" we talk about something you use in Netbeans,
Eclipse, ... which allows to editor StructuredText e.g. Java-Code,
HTML-Code, ... .

We talk about a control that displays text and in the same time allowing
you to edit it, you can think of it as a TextArea which displays colored
text.
