Richard - I greatly appreciate the clarification. You have soothed some
jitters.

Oracle has every right to allocate its resources as it sees fit. Real-world
demand from developers of commercial FX apps will hopefully tip the scales
in favor of an Oracle-delivered iOS/Android stack.

As a practical matter, it seems to me that tablet and smartphone co-bundled
auto-updating apps may be more likely to be accepted by Apple/Google/Amazon
app stores if bundled and packaged with tooling
(read javafxpackager) provided by Oracle.
