JavaFX Crashing JVM on OS X 7u7 and 7u6

This is <http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-24110>, which was recently fixed.
Since you're on a MBPro, you're probably using the trackpad, right? A short-term workaround, if this is blocking you, might be to use a mouse.
