StrokeLineCap Design Question

I'm looking around for a way to place controls at the ends of a Line to
make a line adjustable.  My first thought was that I could simply replace
the Line's end caps with some new object.  However, that doesn't seem to be
the case.  I was wondering if there were any plans to make the end caps
pluggable?

Is there some other approach used by the SceneBuilder folks that I should
look at?
