3D or Mobile?

Not to stir things up, and I'm super excited about 3D, but I'm wondering what that meeting was like where the product plan managers said, "Let's not commit to mobile, there's no business case. Now on to 3D!".

I'm actually easy to please on the mobile front, I wish Oracle would just say what is probably true: "Worst case for mobile JFX is 2-3 years. We want to get our ducks in a row on the desktop first."

My son's middle school is one of these that is rolling out iPads to every student and my wife and I just started a Java/JavaFX computer club for them. Guess what the kids want to know?
