JavaFX in JDK 8 b100 seems to be broken on Windows

Oh, OK.  I thought the problem might have been that those DLLs *had* changed
and had some issues...

Absolutely, from b99 or any other b9x. They are libxml2.dll and libxslt.dll,
and haven't changed recently.
