Unfortunately I have exactly the same issue with the graphics forest.

However I think I know the problem, I have Xcode installed but as of version 4.3 the command line tools have to be installed separately. If it is the case we might want to add it to the build docs. 
XCode -> Preferences -> Downloads -> Components

I did have an install on my last laptop but not having done mobile dev for about a year, I never bothered to go further than the basic install.

I am currently sitting on a train going through a significant number of rolling hills in the south of the UK and as such I don't think the 4g signal is going to manage 120mb of apple fluff.
