Hi Richard, Jasper,

thanks for your feedback on this. I agree
that it makes sense to co-ordinate these
changes, and that the method names follow
a pattern.

The only real area of overlap between the
two proposals is the change to the current
requestLayout() method in Parent.java.
If you're happy with the general functionality,
and the method names then I'll work with Martin
to ensure that we don't step on each others work,
or cause merge conflicts.

I'm ready to push to the controls repo
this week. Do you have a preferred order
that you'd like to see these arrive?
