Scene Builder performance regression between 1.1 and 2.0

Curiously it seems to only be a significant problem on one particular machine although it does run slower on all our Windows machines so it may well be a driver related issue.
The problematic machine has an Nvidia Quadro FX5800. I will check for a driver update and report back on the subsequent results.
But there is still a performance regression on all machines...
