Please note that the main criticism is not that it becomes a problem for
code contributors but for people submitting qualified bug reports including
reproducible test cases, concrete measurements etc. or contribute these
kind of things to issues opened by other people by submitting qualified
comments thus creating value.

Yes that is one point that is indeed an improvement and nobody denies that
but it is by far outweighed by the negative consequences of the announced
change and Ryan summarized very precisely why.

Fair enough but it would still be nice to have someone at Oracle
championing/supporting that in a way on behalf of the JFX community.
