JavaFX features in JDK 9

I have no direct knowledge of anything Oracle, but based on recent press releases Oracle has put "the cloud" up front and center. So I'm betting a lot of resources will go into that, and a lot of projects not in line with that goal will be reduced to maintenance mode. Personally I see the reduced effort in mobile as a sign of this, and possibly also this (maybe) underwhelming list. Big American multinationals have a tendency to be managed as an 'oil tanker' instead of a 'hive', so once the ship has been put on a certain course, everything will be focused on that. (This in no way is a fact or a judgement - I would not pretend to know how to run a multinational - it is merely a personal observation. I do think that, if my observation is correct, they're very late to the party.)
