javapackager feedback and questions

Hi,
I am wondering why you can say that ".dmg and .msi packaging work very well"
because there is this still open bug 
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8179033
which keeps me from building DMG files on Java 9. Are you still using 
Java 8?
