Removing gtk2 support

I think it is absolutely worth considering that.
I actually thought we already had an issue for discussing this, but I seem
to be unable to do search queries on JBS atm.

I can't think about configurations that are stuck on GTK2 and that are
still relevant today, but it would be good to get input from others in case
such configurations are still in use.
