@kevinrushforth Since you wanted to review this PR, I suggest an early start if this is to go into the upcoming release (and I think it should). There's quite a lot to go over and it'd be beneficial to integrate this before RDP 1. mstr and I already finished our reviews (I have more test code to go over, but it's not an integration blocker), so 1 more reviewer needed.
