Suggestion to unlog the jam: why don't we start here?

The option you proposed "--missing-symbols=warn|error|exclude" is a good 
one and we should add it to control the missing symbol check logic.

That will at least make it clear that, when that option is enabled, 
jextract will have to be able to find the required library (meaning -L 
and -l, currently).

I think this would be a net improvement over the status quo?
