[foreign-memaccess+abi] RFR: Fix discrepancies between master and foreign-memaccess+abi

This patch syncs up memaccess+abi with the master branch in cases that were missed in the initial merge.

The remaining diff between memaccess+abi and master is this: http://cr.openjdk.java.net/~jvernee/memaccess_abi_master.diff which contains patches that have not yet been upstreamed.
