Proposal: zero-assembler port of OpenJDK

I'm late to this discussion, and I'm not a member of any groups so my
comments don't carry the same weight. But I just wanted to chime in
and say I think this is a brilliant idea, and it will allow for a
personal goal of mine to be achieved far easier than otherwise, that
of being able to port OpenJDK to the Mac OS X platform running on PPC
hardware.
