This is fantastic!

Somebody from the Porter Group needs to decide if they want to sponsor
you as a member, but as a general rule [1]:

I would suggest to first start rolling out patches, you don't need to
be part of any group to do that and it will make escalating the
membership privileges much easier.

need any help, the best place to start is to ask to the Adoption
Group: http://openjdk.java.net/groups/adoption/
