Hi Mark,

in order to be eligible for membership in a Group, you should be 
regularly active in a Group or its sponsored Projects for at least a 
year before being nominated to be a Group Member. I don't see a record 
of you being active in the Porters Group or its sponsored Projects yet, 
so I'd suggest holding that thought for at least a year longer.
