Another option is to run specjvm2008 (used as example by the LVM article
on Huge Pages [1]

java -XX:+UseLargePages -XX:+UseSHM -Xmx756m -jar SPECjvm2008.jar -wt
120 -it 300 --parseJvmArgs -i 1 --peak
