Hi Sasha,

with your changes the build fails in jdk on non-ppc Linux because
OPENJDK_TARGET_CPU_ENDIAN is not defined.

Could you please also test your changes on other platforms than ppc
(i.e. at least Linux/amd64 and Windows) in the future.
