Cross compile ppc64?

Hi,

I have a Hotspot patch that affects PPC64 platform.  Can I cross compile 
it on linux x64?  I have a PPC cross compiler from (somewhere).

gcc (Sourcery G++ Lite 4.1-78) 4.1.2
