Ok, I think we only switched to 8u40 with the April security update to
u45, so the change really couldn't have been made any earlier. Previously,
we were using u31 from the January CPU.

We have the template interpreter already. It seems just a couple of AIX fixes
are missing. Is this fix going to be pushed there soon?

By the way, you should consider removing the .jcheck directory, at least in
HotSpot:

pulling from http://hg.openjdk.java.net/ppc-aix-port/jdk7u/hotspot
searching for changes
adding changesets
adding manifests
adding file changes
added 302 changesets with 418 changes to 103 files
