Hi Gordon,

the AIX bootstrap jdk you mention is pretty old and unfortunately not availabl any more due to a crash on the server which used to provide it.

The Adopt OpenJDK group is currently running an effort to create a continuous OpenJDK build on all OpenJDK platforms. They have a slack group [2] and I've just send you an invitation for it. In the #aix channel of that group I've recently posted an openjdk7 build which you can use as boot jdk on AIX.
