How to contribute to the Adopt OpenJDK and OpenJDK ?

I think there should also be clear guidance on how to submit your first
patch for a small, low-impact change (like a code clean up).  Over time we
want more people to gain Author+ status in the various projects, especially
around safer parts of OpenJDK (e.g. Not Hotspot)
