Hi,

we're regularly testing Hibernate ORM on s390x, but recently started 
experiencing issues when building Hibernate ORM 7.0 on s390x, since that 
requires JDK 17.

We essentially run into a JVM error. We're using the latest available

I?m afraid this is not the right place to raise your issue. This mailing list is for s390 porting topics related to OpenJDK.

The links you provided below do not indicate any correlation of your software (Hibernate ORM) or the JVM you are using (OpenJ9) with OpenJDK.

I suggest you get in touch with the OpenJ9 maintainers to address your concerns.
