May I suggest that it would be really beneficial to have tests like
these public. I do actually have an openindiana install, so in theory
I could try building hotspot on that. I haven't done that because
there are no tests that I could run. It is slightly irritating that
a simple patch is stalled for months because nobody can find the
proprietary/clossed tests to run. As far as I know everybody who
looked at the code agreed this shouldn't impact solaris/dtrace. It
could of course in theory, so it is good if someone runs the tests
on that platform, but IMHO this is taking way too long and you are
not empowering others to help you getting things done.
