Hi Mattias,

This looks good.

Maybe you could afford to call gc() unconditionally
instead of only when isAnyUsageAboveThreshold(pools) returns
true.
This may be taken into consideration if this test fails again ;-(

Small nit: BoundlessLoaderThread.pool could be declared final.
