RFR: 8308400: add ForceEarlyReturn support for virtual threads [v4]

Serguei Spitsyn has updated the pull request with a new target base due to a merge or a rebase. The pull request now contains four commits:

 - Merge
 - addressed review comment about test formatting
 - minor tweak in libForceEarlyReturnTest.cpp
 - 8308400: add ForceEarlyReturn support for virtual threads
