I assume there no chance that `Exception e` may already be a `PrivilegedActionException` here. You coud avoid casts by using instanceof patterns.
Suggestion:
if (e instanceof RuntimeException rte) {
throw rte;
} else {
throw new PrivilegedActionException(e);
}
