Right but that is why there was a tweak to `sleep_nanos`:
if (has_async_exception_condition()) {
return false;
}
But that tweak has now been removed hence this fix no longer maintains the functionality of `StopThread`.
And again this issue of leaving the interrupt flag set has existed "forever".
