Yes, now would be a good time. With the changes in upstream jdk8u
operation, we don't have the same issue with a big backlog after the CPU.
I intend to start weekly merges with upstream once the first build for
8u222 goes into jdk8u on Wednesday. That should keep merges down to
smaller, manageable chunks. I guess Aleksey may want to do something
similar with 11u.
Incidentally, i've CCed the Shenandoah list on this mail as they seem to
have been missed in the original post.
