thanks for reporting it!
That looks suspiciously like one bug that Roland has fixed very recently:
https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8237007
The fix is in shenandoah/jdk11, and thus in our nightly builds:
https://builds.shipilev.net/openjdk-shenandoah-jdk11/
Maybe you can try with one of those builds?
