No, none. I left some comments & data in the JBS ticket. I am looking at gathering some more data as well a further small improvement which also is unlikely to improve performance by much.

Yes. It's failure equivalent to the reference/baseline. (Each exhibits one failure in a particular stress test w/dacapo that is under active investigation in a separate ticket by William, I believe.)

Thanks for the prompt review, Kelvin. I've updated the description and am making this a draft again to try a couple more improvements, and to gather some performance data along the lines described in the ticket.
