[threeten-dev] Dissolving the threeten-dev project?

Hi,

I think the OpenJDK ThreeTen[1] project has outlived its usefulness 
since java.time has been integrated
into the JDK.  Are there anything I should take into consideration 
before formally calling for it
to be dissolved?
