Sorry for the churn in the repos the last few days and hours, but I 
believe the latest bits from the type-annotations forest and the bits in 
the tl forest are in sync, with more than enough time for a cup of 
coffee before the deadline.

We still have 3 tests failing in type-annotations, which are @ignored in 
tl. We still need to investigate (and fix) these failures, and there are 
still places where we could do with more tests, sooner rather than later.
