I can tell you for sure it won't be part of Java 9.  Other than that, we 
are not making any projections.

Oracle is indeed investing actively in this.  The JVMLS talk outlines 
where we are now; clearly we've got a long way to go, but we're pleased 
with the progress so far.  Stay tuned...
