I strongly disagree - OpenJDK mailing list bifurcation is a serious barrier
to casual user contribution. Added to the fact that its not at all clear
which project covers what and where the overlap is and there's no
aggressive project deprecation.

Offtopic - but has to be said since you raise it I'm afraid.
