New Valhalla contributor

Hello "gods and mortals of Valhalla",

I just signed up as a contributor, more or less as direct consequence of
hearing Tobi Ajilas talk at DEVOXX Belgium (https://devoxx.be/talk/?id=41660).
Interesting stuff!

I've always liked working on compilers, and been an independent OpenSource
contributor in the past, primarily on Eclipse WTP (XPath 2 engine and XSL
tooling) and on Eclipse JDT (some work on Java 8 support). Other
programming language interest include Rust (since 2018), but I have a
background with C and C++.
