> Well, that's my point: the semantics-changing PR _should not_ include large formatting changes like this, as it obscures the thing being done. Do the minimal (ugly) thing of adding/modifying things you need for this PR to work.

We still need to reformat a large portion of the table. Please show how you want this change to be made with minimal formatting.
