Do we want the new mailing lists to be carried by gmane.org and/or www.mail-archive.com?

I just received email from flameeyes at gmail.com indicating s/he
uses gmane to follow the mailing list traffic and send replies
(see below).
It that is the case, I'd like to sign up the new mailing lists,
and maybe even find a way to communicate that the old lists are
ended and won't see any more traffic.

I'm sorry for using an old address, but to post it I used Gmane [1],
seems like their address is outdated.
I'll now subscribe to the mailing list directly, and will use it until
Gmane updates for the new mailing lists.
