Rsync access to cr.openjdk.java.net ?

I rsync my webrevs to cr.openjdk.java.net but this has stopped working:

This account is restricted by rssh.
Allowed commands: scp sftp rsync

If you believe this is in error, please contact your system administrator.

rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(605) 
[sender=3.0.9pre2]

It's possible my local rsync version has changed but does anyone know 
why I would get this error?

I can't seem to use either scp or sftp to sync directories in the same 
way as rsync.
