I checked the help at openjdk.java.net list just now, and that should be
working. This reply message will be another test.

web-discuss at openjdk.java.net is good for this topic. One thing that
happened was your message was held up for moderation. Please sign up

I updated the web page at https://openjdk.java.net/install/ to point the
way to JDK 12 which is our current GA (General Availability) release:
https://jdk.java.net/12/
https://jdk.java.net is intended to focus on our most recent Early
Access builds. For example, Early Access JDK 13 and JDK 14 builds are
available there for people to try out and send feedback:

Look on the the Oracle Technology Network for commercial JDK builds from
Oracle under a non-open-source license, for a range of platforms
(including Windows):

You are correct - that FAQ page is dated December 2010. The latest full
release available this week is JDK 12. JDK 13 is a Release Candidate
now and is almost ready for GA. Check back next week for news on that
when the annual conference gets started:

I hope this reply helps clarify the situation.
