cant remove directories from my https://cr.openjdk.org/ folder

Hi,

My https://cr.openjdk.org/~vromero/ folder has a lot of dated files and 
folders I would like to remove. I have been trying to remove some of the 
folders but after connecting using `sftp` and executing command:

rename myfolder .trash/myfolder as indicated at [1], I get:

Couldn't rename file "/public_html/myfolder" to 
"/public_html/.trash/myfolder"

Should I execute another command?
