Hi Matthias,

I think I have good news for you - this bug should be fixed in the
latest JDK8 builds available at: http://jdk8.java.net/
OpenJKD8 builds should have it too, however I don't know where
pre-compiled openjdk-8 builds are available.

This is quite unfourtunate. I wonder what is going wrong there (and
why it works with xrender), as scrolling is done in both cases with
XCopyArea....
