I am not sure what you mean by 'a new kind of architecture with
Solaris', but I think a better mailing list to direct this question at

Zero itself is a variant of Hotspot that does not use any
machine-code/assembly directly, therefore it could be useful in your
porting effort to that new platform.

Other than that, I think your question is too broad and the information
you give too little to give a useful answer. Can you give us some more
details about what it is that you're working on?
